PlantingCheck is an APP developed to help on the evaluation of corn planting quality.
It is based on the longitudinal seed distribution.The Coefficient of variation (CV) on longitudinal seed distribution is a tool that can be used as a planting quality indicator.Planting Check calculates the coefficient of variation and based on field experiments, indicates if the longitudinal seed distribution is affecting or not affecting the yield.Yield losses can occur due to high coefficients of variation on corn longitudinal seed distribution.To do the evaluations and obtain the coefficient of variation, it is necessary to use a tape measure, and measure the distance between each seed on the planting furrow.
After measuring the distance between seeds, just insert the information of distance on PlantingCheck (ten measurements) and push Calculate!
PlantingCheck gives you the result.The result will go to a database and can be used to evaluate the seed distributions quality.We recommend doing 20 evaluations with 10 measurements each per hectare.
